Malecon Rum Rare Proof is produced as a small batch from high-quality, local molasses in Panama. All Malecon Rum rums have their origins in Panama and are produced according to Cuban tradition. The sugar cane used comes from the fields surrounding the distillery and guarantees high quality during further processing. The fermented molasses for this 20-year-old bottling was also distilled in column stills in the Cuban tradition. The molasses rum matured in oak barrels.
