Product description
The Malteco Triple 1 Rum was distilled from fresh sugar cane juice on Colum stills and originated in Panama. The 11-year-old rum spent its maturation period in former Bourbon barrels. The logo of the Malteco Rums is the Quetzal bird, whose feathers are over a metre long and who is considered the reincarnation of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, who came ashore from the sea to teach the people. Bottled at 111 proof, i.e. 55.5% vol, this bottling thus received its name 'Triple 1'.
