Product description
For Malts of Islay, malt whiskies from two important Islay distilleries were married together: Bowmore and Laphroaig. The Blended Malt matured over three decades, first in a refill Bourbon hogshead and was then refined in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask. The independent bottler Murray McDavid is based in Speyside at the Coleburn distillery. He bottles a wide variety of Single Malts, Grains and Blends in his 6 different series. In the Mission Gold series, Murray McDavid marries selected malts to a new taste combination. The beautifully shaped bottles are designed with thicker bottoms and high-quality wooden corks. The overall design also conveys an exclusive impression with its yellow-gold colouring.
