Product description
The Irish Proper No. 12 blended whiskey was created through the work of master distiller David Elder. The whiskey made from malted and unmalted barley was triple distilled and then matured for 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels. It was named after Dublin's postal district number 12.

Der Duft ist angenehm und süßlich mit Noten von Vanille, Honig und leichten Fruchtnuancen. Eine subtile Holzfassnote rundet das Bouquet ab und verspricht eine ausgewogene Komplexität.
Proper No. Twelve ist ein solider Whisky, der vor allem für Einsteiger geeignet ist, die einen unkomplizierten, aber schmackhaften Drink suchen. Er hat zwar nicht die Tiefe und Komplexität manch älterer Abfüllungen, ist aber dennoch ein angenehmes Erlebnis und verdient einen Platz in jeder Bar. Ein guter Whisky, der Spaß macht, aber vielleicht nicht die hohen Erwartungen eines erfahrenen Whisky-Kenners ganz erfüllen kann.
