The Ron San Miguel Solera is produced in Ecuador. The molasses is obtained from Ecuadorian sugar cane and then distilled in column stills. The subsequent maturation in the solera process at 2,538 metres above sea level takes place in oak barrels. The end result is a rum that carries nutty accents with honey notes and fruity vanilla and is bottled at 40% vol. without being sweetened or coloured.
