Savanna Le Must Rhum Traditionnel is made from molasses rums distilled in a column still. The Blend then matures in the tropical climate of Reunion in French oak barrels that were previously filled with cognac.

The Distillery:

The Savanna distillery is located on the island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean. The Rum distillery, located next to the Bois Rouge sugar factory in the commune of Saint-André, produces traditional Molasses Rums, Rhum Agricole made from pure juice, as well as Grands Aroma and High Esters Rums. read more

Aroma: Obstfrüchte mit Anklängen von Banane, Birne und weißen Pfirsichen. Es folgen Noten von Süßigkeiten und wenn der Rum etwas atmet, gesellen sich Facetten von Rosinen, Datteln und Aprikosen hinzu, ehe Brot- und Butternoten übernehmen.

Geschmack: Eine Kombination aus reifen Nuancen von Obst mit Waldbeeren und Sauerkirschen.

Abgang: Akzente von Milchschokoladenganache und subtile Röstaromen.
