Aroma: Sehr fruchtig, Richtung reife Birne, Kokos, viel Vanille. Intensiv aber kaum Alkohol.

Geschmack: Anhaltend süß, kaum trockener werdend. Auch hier sehr birnig, relativ wenig Zitrus wie bei Bourbonfass Reifungen oft zu beobachten.

Abgang: Lang und am Ende mit Holz mit sehr angenehmen scharfen Chilli catch.

Kommentar: Toll. Eine süße Honigbombe mit tollem holzbetontem Kontrapunkt. Dadurch trotz vergelichsweise geringer Komplexität sehr spannend. Er erinnert mich an Den Dalwhinnie 15 oder den Oban 14, die auch starke Honignoten haben - aber ohne die abschließende Schärfe. Im Vergleich zu denen aber mit einem unerreichtem PLV. Aich aus dem Grund 4,5 Sterne.
