This Talisker from the oldest distillery still in operation on the Isle of Skye was bottled for the Special Releases 2022. Under the theme 'Elusive Expressions', this year's bottlings each represent a legend surrounding their distillery.
Legend has it that on a stormy night, the tidal current surged into Talisker Bay with unusual force, bringing forth a luminous creature from the depths of the sea that flooded the darkness with a captivating glow.

Aroma: schwach süßlicher Rauch, eingelegte Oliven, alkoholische Schärfe; Verdünnung sollte sein, dann nussig
Geschmack: süßliche Schärfe, eher zurückhaltend, verdünnt fruchtig
Abgang: lang, nicht zu intensiv rauchig, malzig; nach Verdünnung betonter salzig, angenehme Schärfe, später nach Shortbread
