Product description
The Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition is post-matured in casks that previously contained Cabernet Sauvignon. After finishing, the malt is blended again in bourbon casks for harmonisation.
Tamnavulin was built in 1966 in the rural village of Tomnavoulin, Scotland. Almost three decades later, it was closed again. After extensive renovation, the reopening was celebrated in 2007.

Tamnavulin is one of the younger Scottish distilleries and only built in 1966. It was founded to produce a great quantity of Whisky for Blends and this is still its main job. There are only a few Single Malts released as official bottlings from Tamnavulin, the “mill on the hill”, but the Speyside distillery on the banks of the river Livet is worth to have a closer look on it. read more

Aroma: Fruchtige Noten von roten Beeren und ein Hauch von Vanille. Leichte florale Untertöne und ein Anklang von Eichenholz.

Geschmack: Aromen von süßen roten Früchten, begleitet von Vanille und einem Hauch von Gewürzen.

Abgang: Mittellang mit einem süßen und leicht würzigen Nachgeschmack.

Kommentar: angenehm süß-fruchtiger Whisky, der besonders für Einsteiger.

Dieser Whisky ist eine gute Wahl für Liebhaber leichter, fruchtiger Whiskys.
