The Dalmore - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In search of the perfect conditions for a special distillate, founder Alexander Matheson built The Dalmore Distillery in the north of the Highlands. The clear, pure water from the surrounding Loch Moire is still used today in the production of our whisky creations.
Under the legendary master blender Richard Paterson - called "The Nose" - these whiskies have become the epitome of a Scotch single malt. For over half a century, he has been responsible for the exceptionally aromatic and complex whiskies.
The cask makes the whisky. That is why Paterson personally selects the rare and precious casks in which The Dalmore is allowed to mature and develop its aromas over many years.
At classic whisky distilleries, you often find stills of the same shape and size - not so at The Dalmore. Because they believe that a combination of different stills gives the whisky more complexity and character.
