Product description
Arran Machrie Moor is dedicated to the beautiful moorland on the west coast of the Isle of Arran, criss-crossed by mighty rock formations and bearing the same name. According to legend, the legendary king Fingal tied his favourite dog Bran to one of these stones. This uncharacteristically smoky whisky is dedicated to this special piece of land on the Isle of Arran. Since 2018, the cask strength edition has been part of the distillery's standard range.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more

Ich hatte mehr Rauch erwartet, da ich das torfige sehr mag. Aber auch mit etwas weniger Rauch, als erwartet, ein hervorragendes Produkt, geschmacklich sehr komplex und absolut zu empfehlen.
