Arran 'The Bodega' has been part of the island distillery's core range since autumn 2019. For the Single Malt, only casks from sherry wine cellars (=Bodega) in Jerez, Spain, were chosen. The Bodega was then bottled at natural cask strength.

The Distillery:

The Lochranza distillery is located on the Isle of Arran, after which it was initially named. In 2019, Lagg, the second distillery on the island, opened. As a result, Arran renamed itself Lochranza to better distinguish it. However, the Single Malt Whisky is still available under the Arran brand. read more

Aroma: der typische Arran Apfel wird hervorragend eränzt durch weitere Früchte wie Kirschen und Erdbeeren, Wasserzuge öffnet ein angenehmes Bouquet mit Mandariene

Geschmack: sehr komplex und dicht an Aromen, alles toll eingebunden, eine wahre Fruchtbombe

Abgang: undglaublich lang und aromatisch

Kommentar: tolle Variante, für Arranfans ein absolutes MUSS, ein Whisky wie die Insel selbst: unbedingt besuchenswert
