Product description
This is the strong Three Wood Whisky from Auchentoshan. After about 10 years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is matured for 2 years in an oloroso sherry cask before being matured for a further 6 months in a sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.

Kommentar: Aufgrund der sehr geteilten Meinung vieler Whiskygenießer habe ich lange gebraucht um ihn zu testen. Er lag unterm Christbaum und nun bin ich positiv überrascht. Beim ersten öffnen gab es ein "Oje". Möbelpolitur pur? Dann kam ein großes "Ah". Vielschichtig und Komplex. Geschmäcker sind verschieden und das ist gut so. Ich finde ihn bemerkenswert und werde ihn wieder kaufen. Eiche MUSS man natürlich mögen. Danke für die vielen Facetten der Schottischen Whiskys.
