The Legendary Red Silkie comes from the town of Donegal on Ireland's west coast. It is made by Sliabh Liag Distillers from double and triple distilled and peated Malt Whiskeys as well as Grain Whiskeys. For the Red bottling , the creation is finished after blending in Ribera Del Duero and Rioja red wine casks. 'Silkies' are seal mythological creatures from Irish mythology that transform into irresistibly beautiful women on land.

Aroma: Würzig mit Süße von roten Beeren, Erdbeerspitzen, Sandelholz, Muskatnuss und getrockneten Apfelscheiben.
Geschmack: Aromatisch und süß, Erdbeercoulis, Marmelade, getrocknete Früchte, eingeweicht in Earl Grey Tea. Trockene Weinnoten und Eichentanninen mit knackiger Frische kommen hinzu.
Abgang: Süßes Harz gefolgt von trockenen Akzenten von Wein und einem Hauch von abklingendem Rauch.
