Angostura 1824 is a tribute to the ongoing and traditional history of the company, which was founded in 1824 by Dr. Johann G.B. Siegert. The company became known for the invention of the world-famous Angostura Bitters. The 1824 is created from mature rums that are handpicked by the master blender from selected barrels. The rum is matured in burnt-out American oak bourbon barrels and then expertly blended and bottled by hand.
