Product description
This whisky is one of Gordon & MacPhail's distillery labels and comes from the Highland distillery Ardmore. Decades ago, the Urquhart family cultivated important contacts with the distilleries, and the range is still very diverse today. Distilled in 2008, the Single Malt was matured in bourbon casks before being bottled uncoloured and non-chill-filtered in 2023 with a slightly higher alcohol content of 46%.

Aroma: Vanille Rauch und etwas Holz. Wirkt sehr voll und aufgeladen

Geschmack: Etwas sanfter als die Nase verspricht dennoch reif und voll mit leichtem Ingwer-/Pfeffermoment

Abgang: Voll süß und vanillig/rauchig. Mittellang

Kommentar: sehr guter Ardmore. Dürfte aber bei 15 Jahren gerne noch etwas Intensiver und voller im Geschmack sein.
