Pur fand ich ihn nicht so gut (etwas zu medizinisch bzw. leichte Klebstoffnote), aber hervorragend für Old Fashioned geeignet, da kommt er deutlich besser zur Geltung als so mancher höherpreisigerer Bourbon. Die unangenehmen Noten werden dabei gut kaschiert, wodurch der Spirit dieses Bourbon wirklich glänzen kann.
Ich mische meinen Old Fashioned mit 6cl Whiskey, 8ml Ahornsirup, 3 ordentliche Spritzer Angosturabitter, Orangenzeste, 1 großer Eiswürfel, nur kurz verrührt.
