This special Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select bottling was created in honour of Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday. Master Distiller Jeff Arnett chose special casks that have particularly deep indentations so that the whisky works even more intensively with the oak.

Eine der ersten Flaschen die ich 2020 hier erworben habe, damals für knapp 130 €. Ein genialer US - Whiskey, bei weitem nicht mehr nur süß und leicht. Kräftige Eiche, leicht verkohlt, würzig, dann erst kommen Vanille und Karamell, sogar eine Fruchtigkeit ist zu erahnen. Dazu eine der schönsten Flaschen am Markt, mit ebenso schöner Ausstattung. Klar, JD langt hier preislich gut hin, aber er ist auch so unglaublich weit vom Old No 7 entfernt, ohne dessen Charakter komplett aufzugeben. Klare 5 Sterne, den Preis einfach mal außen vor gelassen…

Jack Daniel's ehrt seinen legendären "Brand Ambassador" Frank Sinatra mit dieser besonderen Version des "Old No. 7". Der mit dem Bottom Shelf Standard Jack allerdings nicht im geringsten zu vergleichen ist. Beim Sinatra Select erhält man einen köstlichen und vollmundigen (und das bei nur 90°) Tennessee Whiskey, der noch dazu in top Verpackung und schwerer Flasche daherkommt. Für Sinatra Fans natürlich genial, aber auch für Whiskey-Fans allgemein selbst bei dem relativ hohen Preis eine große Empfehlung.
