The Yellowstone brand was launched as early as 1872. The whiskey is named after the American national park called Yellowstone, which the Limestone Branch distillery is committed to preserving. In the 1960s, Yellowstone Select Bourbon was one of the best-selling bourbons in the USA. The distillery wants to build on this success. For the Family Recipe bottling, the distillery uses an old recipe that was found in an old suitcase and has always been in the possession of the Beam family.

Kommentar: Kein typischer Bourbon. So richtig einordnen fällt da schwer. Er ist angenehm und doch hebt er sich aus der Masse heraus. Für "jeden Tag" ist er nicht zu gebrauchen, der braucht den richtigen Moment, denn wie oben erwähnt kann er den Bourbon - typischen Grundcharakter nicht ganz erfüllen und ist eben Einzigartig. Dafür gibts glatte 4 Sternchen
