The 13-year-old Old Pulteney was matured in hand-selected American oak casks and finally matured in Spanish oak casks. The result is a successful travel retail bottling that combines notes of warming spices and accents of honey with the maritime Old Pulteney character. For even more enjoyment, the Single Malt was bottled in beautifully shaped 1 litre bottles.

Kommentar: Wie konnte dieser Whisky so lange an mir vorbeigehen? Er wird kaum besprochen und schon gar nicht gehypt. Ein vollaromatischer toller Whisky mit eigenständigem Charakter, der auch leicht maritime Noten bereithält. Dunkle Früchte, Gewürze, Nüsse und eine tolle Süße prägen diesen Single Malt. Es lohnt sich immer über den Tellerrand zu blicken. Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Danke Pulteney.
