This 18-year-old Old Pulteney has been part of the distillery's standard range since 2019. It was first matured in American white oak casks and then received a post-maturation in fresh Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.

    Geschmack: Sherry, Pflaumen, würzige süße, leichte Eichentöne.

    Abgang: Intensiver und sehr langer Abgang.

    Aroma: scheckt sehr vorweihnachtlich, Kekse, Spekulatius, leicht Vanille, angenehme Süße, vielleicht auch Zimt ( habe gerade einen Stollen gebacken, vielleicht daher )

    Geschmack: sehr vielseitig und sehr ausgewogen. etwas scharfer Geschmack - schwarzer Pfeffer ?, Schokolade , Wintergewürze, zart ölig

    Abgang: Dieser Whisky wirkt lange nach. Die ganzen Aromen wandern nochmal lange am Gaumen entlang und es kommt zu einem sagenhaften lang andauernden Gefühl der tiefsten Zufriedenheit.

    Kommentar: Eigentlich wollte ich diesen Whisky erst Weihnachten öffnen. Habe es nicht ausgehalten. Das Beste, was ich seit langem getrunken habe. Gibt es den perfekten Whisky ? Dieser ist jedenfalss ganz nahe dran.

    Kommentar: Absolut exzellenter Whisky, vom Geschmack her genau mein Ding. WIrklich sehr, sehr lecker. Vor allem der Geschmack im Mund in Kombination mit dem Abang (Süße, Sherry, etwas Schokolade und Honig) sind super. Volle Punktzahl.
