Product description
The limited Ardbeg Auriverdes of 2014 got its name from the golden colour (Auri) and the distillery's typical green bottle (Verde). This year's host country of the World Cup, Brazil, is also called Auriverdes because of its national colours.
Auriverdes is distinguished by the barrels used for maturation. The refill barrels received new, specially toasted lids before the second filling.

Aroma: frisch durchaus martitim, eher recht jung, rauchig, vom Aroma geht dieser
in die Richtung Lagavulin 8 Jahre oder dem gelungenen Wolfburn, Kräuter, komplex

Geschmack: rauchig, stark rauchig, keinerlei metallische Jugend, gut diese kommt
bei diesen Rauchbomben auch nicht so offensichtlich zum Tragen, sonderlich alt
wird dieser nicht sein vermeintlich unter 10 Jahre, maritim sprich leicht salzig,
der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden

Abgang: mittellang, maritim

Kommentar: gelungener Tropfen bleibt für mich hinter dem Perpetuum
trotzdem sehr solide, schmeckt nur preislich dann mittlerweile doch zu
abgehoben
