    Geschmack: ölig, würzig, viel Rauch, Teer, Lakritze, NAS merkt man nicht, verträgt paar Tropfen Wasser aber geht auch pur

    Abgang: lang, ätherisch, süß, Lagerfeuer, leicht trocken

    Kommentar: grandioser komplexer und harmonischer Islay-Whisky mit enormen Charakter Sherry Date Fig Dried Fruit Honey Caramel Spices Bonfire Smoke Ham Herbs Leather

    Kommentar: Obwohl ich kein großer Fan von rauchigen Whisky bin, so ist dieser doch ein wahres Meisterwerk! Unvorstellbar voll und rund im Geschmack und dabei trotz seiner 54,2% (!) so sanft wie viele 43% Whisky. Für mich der beeindruckendste von den ca. 50 Whisky die ich bisher im Preisbereich von 50-100€ testen durfte. Rauchige Rivalen wie Lagavullin 16, Port Charlotte 10, verschiedene Laphroig (10, PX Cask, Triple Wood, Sheery Oak Finish), oder Caol Ila liefern alle nicht diese beeindruckende Kombination von geschmacklicher Fülle und Sanftheit.
