Aroma Turkish sweets and rose petals balanced by candied fruits and grapes. Leather and a peppery spiciness follow, with a hint of chocolate in the background.
Taste Creamy with full-bodied almond notes, sweet malt and typical Ledaig pepper. Raspberries, sweet vanilla and cocoa follow with cinnamon and freshly cut grass.
Finish Persistently smoky with red fruits and seawater.

Product description
This Ledaig is named after the founder of the distillery, John Sinclair. The distillery on the island of Mull was still called Ledaig (safe haven) in 1798. The first bottling of the new Sinclair Series was matured in casks in which sweet-fruity red wine from the Spanish Rioja had previously been stored.

Kommentar: Der Charakter gefällt mir sehr.
Vom Aroma ist eher sanft, hat eine leichte Frische. Aber im Mund da kommt viel, und je länger er tanzen kann je besser wird es. Am Schluss kommt nochmal richtig was Pfeffriges, ja sogar leicht scharfes. Das gefällt mir richtig gut.
Ich finde schon ein besonderer Typ der was aussagen will und trotzdem nicht überfordert.

Kommentar: Das hier ist erst mein dritter Whisky denn ich besitze, aber der Charakter gefällt mir sehr.
Vom Aroma ist eher sanft, hat eine leichte Frische. Aber im Mund da kommt viel, und je länger er tanzen kann je besser wird es. Am Schluss kommt nochmal richtig was Pfeffriges, ja sogar leicht scharfes. Das gefällt mir richtig gut.
Ich finde schon ein besonderer Typ der was aussagen will und trotzdem nicht überfordert.

Und vier Sterne deswegen, weil ich wirklich noch neu bin und da bestimmt noch viel zu entdecken gibt, weswegen ich mir noch ein bisschen Luft nach oben lasse. Aber der Ledaig Sinclair Series wird bestimmt mit Freude mich noch länger begleiten.
