West Cork Rum was matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and then finished in Consorcio Licorero Nacional rum barrels from Panama.
The young company West Cork decided to completely dispense with dye or chill filtration for the redesign of their range.

The West Cork Distillery is located, as the name suggests, in the west of Cork in Ireland. In 2003, the distillery was established by three childhood friends without the prospect of much success. But the distillery turned out better than expected: today, more than 100 people, most of them from Cork, work there to produce and market Whiskeys, Gins and Vodka.

80/100 Ein Rum-Finish mit ausreichendem Eintrag in den Whiskey. Im Gegensatz zu einer Reihe sonstiger "Rumoide" trägt er seien Namen zu Recht.
