Product description
Laphroaig stands for intensely smoky malts - so it's no wonder that the Islay distillery places great value on its own peat. The peat, cut by hand, is first dried for three months and then used to dry the grain on Laphroaig's own malt floors. In the live tasting, we taste three of the smoky creations: The 10-year-old Classic, the Lore partly matured in sherry casks and quarter casks, and Select with proportions of all the well-known Laphroaig bottlings (10 years, PX Cask, Quarter Cask and Triple Wood).

The area around the distillery, which is located on the remote island of Islay (pronounced 'Ei-la') off the west coast of Scotland, is just as beautiful.
