Old Bardstown Estate Bourbon is named after a small town in Kentucky that, despite its population of only 14,000, is home to five of America's great whiskey distilleries: Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Barton, Willet and Maker's Mark. The classic Kentucky Straight Bourbon was produced at the Willet distillery using the traditional sour mash process.

Indeed - the Willett Distillery in Bardstown is a very new one and started production in 2012, after the old family owned distillery had been closed in the 1980s.

Kommentar: Parade Pferd für einen Bourbon, schön für den Preis und perfekt als Geschenk. Abgesehen von den typischen Bourbon-Noten ist leider nicht viel drin. Wie gesagt, es ist ein perfektes Geschenk zu einem niedrigen Preis und eine nette Abwächslung im Vergleich zum No.7
